The industrial-grade handheld terminal has data storage and computing capabilities, has display and input functions, can perform data communication with other devices, has an independent battery power supply, and can be used for secondary development. It is characterized by firmness and durability, and can be used in many places with relatively harsh environments. At the same time, it has made a lot of optimizations for industrial use characteristics.


Industrial-grade handheld terminals are specially designed and developed for industrial fields or special work application scenarios. In terms of function, the industrial-grade handheld terminal has a built-in scanning head, which can scan one-dimensional, two-dimensional barcodes, and even DPM codes. Equipped with Bluetooth, camera, call, GPS, multi-mode wireless network, data communication and other functions, with large capacity battery, long battery life, and high industrial grade above IP65.


The industrial-grade handheld terminal equipped with RFID reading function can automatically identify the target object and obtain relevant data through the radio frequency identification signal without manual intervention. It can identify high-speed moving objects and identify multiple RFID tags at the same time. For low frequency, high frequency, UHF, active, etc. All of the above are not available in consumer-grade handheld terminals.

Main features include:

  1. Barcode scanning: There are currently two technologies for barcode scanning, laser and CCD. Laser scanning can only read one-dimensional barcodes. CCD technology can recognize one-dimensional and two-dimensional barcodes. The more popular view is that when reading one-dimensional barcodes, Laser scanning technology is faster and more convenient than CCD technology.   6. GPS: Industrial applications are mainly used for public security, and more in the civilian market, providing electronic maps and positioning services for drivers
  7. GSM/GPRS/CDMA wireless data communication: the main function is to exchange real-time data with the database through wireless data communication. There are mainly two situations where this function needs to be used. One is the application that requires high real-time data, and the other is that it may be needed when the required data cannot be stored in the handheld terminal due to various reasons in the application. The data is too large, and it may also need to be kept secret, etc.


  1. Bluetooth communication: Bluetooth communication function is a new generation of short-distance wireless communication technology, which is mainly used in PDA and mobile phones at present. Other data terminals have gradually begun to use this technology. The short-distance Bluetooth communication can reach 10m, and the long-distance Bluetooth communication can reach 100m. When the amount of communication data is not large, Bluetooth technology can also replace 802.11B networking.
