The introduction of these measures is of great significance for further regulating the production and operation of animal husbandry and strengthening the quality and safety of livestock and poultry products. The working principle of RFID technology

The application of RFID animal identification technology

How to use: When the animal enters the identification range of the RFID handheld terminal, or when the breeder approaches the animal with the handheld terminal reader, the reader will automatically identify the relevant information of the animal.

 

According to the relevant regulations of international standards ISO11784 and ISO11785, animals use RFID identification code structure and standards. ISO11784 specifies that the animal identification code consists of a total of 64 bits (8 bytes). ISO11785 specifies the transmission method of electronic tag data and the specification of the reader.

The application of RFID technology in pig industry

According to China's national conditions, under the funding of 15 national 863 programs, Lu Changhua of Jiangsu Agricultural University and others have comprehensively applied animal individual identification, two-dimensional code, RFID electronic electronic identification and one-dimensional barcode label technology to combine network technology and database technology with traditional pig raising. The combination of industry and slaughtering and processing has built a pork monitoring and traceability system suitable for China's national conditions.
